What are the best trainer/shoe brand for people on their feet all day?

Posted by KoraLily@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 260 comments

Limit_Ok@reddit

Im on my feet all day. I wear skechers and crocs. Skechers have always been good. I dont like regular crocs, the crocs I wear are called on the clock, theyre more like a normal shoe with laces and everything so they just look a bit better in my opinion. Uhh but I find the right insole is very important for all day comfort as well.

I loved them at first. But everything I've ever hung with them into wallpaper has come off after a number of years. And with painted walls - they will stay on, but theyve taken some paint off with them when ive wanted to remove them. I mount stuff with a hammer and drill nowadays.

I pay £8 per month for 64GB data on O2 Its a sim-only plan, I just scoured all of the price comparison sites and found the cheapest deal I could. Its 32GB data but doubled with O2 as I use VM for broadband at home. Still would have been plenty for me.

He was SO angry, his eyes had glazed over. Im all for supporting local business but no need to be like that. I go to a different music shop now..

home owners, do you regret getting a mortgage “too young”?

Posted by idontcarepauldummett@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 447 comments

I never rented in my life, I just went straight from with parents to a mortgage when I was in my 20s. I still feel good about that now. As a bonus, my mortgage payments are super low compared to an equivalent rental property, and I get death stares when people ask me how much I pay. But that was more of a lucky time and place thing, I think.

I uh blamed one of my friends at the time and my dad agreed it couldnt have been me. Shameful!

Gotta be the bowel prep for me. They told me to try all sorts of techniques to drink it all, but I couldn't do any of them. Eventually I just had to neck it and get it done with. For me, was definitely worse than getting the camera shoved up my behind. I'd have that again no problem. But the prep... urgh.
