It is now unacceptable for British actors to play characters with an American accent. It is viewed as cultural appropriation and their portrayal of our beautiful accent is highly offensive.

Fair enough. You have a point, it is downright demeaning to the British actors to force them to speak in the same way as the traitors to the crown and the British Empire.

I find this offensive. Of course British actors should be able to speak simplified English. This is just inclusive for the American population. Would this not be against the Americans with Disabilities Act, or at least Diversity Equality and Inclusivity? I say let them speak simplified English, so Americans can at least pretend to understand what is being said.

I can help, but not for the US. Marginal tax for 100k is around 36% VAT for all wares except electric cars (under $50k) 25% Food 15% Hotels, transportation and entertainment 12% Depending on spending of the remaining 64k, yeah.. half the paycheck goes in taxes. However I get free healthcare, education and a social security net if I loose my job.

If you are bitten by a US citizen you are a US citizen now.

Far-right mass killer Breivik sues Norway for human rights abuse

Well, Since I am Norwegian and live in Norway, it might be a fantasy world. But at least I am not so blinded by feelings that logic and data is not dismissed out of an insatiable need to see others punished. There will always be outliers. Some people that cannot be rehabilitated, and they need to be locked away. Just like Breidvik. That is why I stated most, not all in my previous post. But it seems you are just butthurt that your revenge-boner is not an universal trait.

Punishment vs rehabilitation. it astounds me that people want to hurt prisoners, to punish them and make them regret (being caught). This only creates an incentive to not get caught again, in essence how to be a better criminal. After you are done punishing or in some cases torturing the prisoners, how will you deal with them when they have done their time? Would a prisoner who has been punished and not rehabilitated change their ways? If you rehabilitate the prisoners, teach them why it is wrong and how it hurts others, and give them a chance to be an asset for society, then many will be better. Not everyone, but many.

In order for the People (USA folks) to get the power back from the elite, we must create an economic collapse. Bring all these non-essential companies to their knees, crash the stock market. The USA already uses economic sanctions on other, now its time for its Citizens to bring it home and boycott.

If the data that is available is correct, and that historical cycles are an valid theory (something is seems to be when it comes to the cyclical nature of bubbles, crashes etc), then if the current economic system crashes with the current conditions, the Great Depression will not be a good comparison. This will be far worse, orders of magnitude worse actually (one order of magnitude is 10 times worse, two orders of magnitude is 100 times worse and so on). Just look at the derivatives marked for stocks, bonds and financial instruments. Where assets worth 3-ish million generate derivatives in the 60-ish million range (Global GDP is about 100 Trillion, the derivatives market is estimated to be at least 1 quadrillion. A great example of this is Archagos Investment Manglement, who took down Credit Suisse and the fallout is still causing trouble for UBS with their overexposed and leveraged derivatives.

Yeah, this is the brotherly love between the Scandinavians. And the Nordics as well. In a room with Danes, Finns, Icelanders, Norwegians and Swedes, everyone will gang up on the Swedes. The stereotypes are as follows Norwegians: Rich and naive Swedish: Slightly stupid Danish: Speaks with a potato stuck in their throat Iceland: Flamboyant Finnish: Drunk, really really drunk, also has a knife and is not afraid to use it...

Yeah, I know, 23 years of service in sales, helpdesk, servicedesk etc. But in this case, you have someone that are paid to read applications. not solve tech problems. As in, if you send an application "I want work, give me work" and no details about what your skills and experiences are, then it is easy to reject the application. You dont even need to contact the person in that case, as you would have to do in support. Context is king, and this was in context to interviewers, not for IT support.
