I loved this gameshow - and all those morning gameshows as I used to watch them with my grandmother when I was home. They helped her learn some English and she had the biggest crush on Bob Barker back in the day lol. Such sweet nostalgia. I've say 'No Whammies!' to my teen kiddo from time to time and when she asked what the hell that means I showed her old clips on YouTube and she began to understand lol.

WPIX and WWOR (Secaucus, NJ) - ah what memories. Old movies on rainy afternoons, especially when they played all those old Godzilla movies (which of course I automatically think of each time I see Beastie Boys' 'Intergalatic.') I remember watching old cartoons on those channels as well - OG Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker etc.

I am so grateful that when my parents moved out of the house I grew up in they asked my brother and I want we wanted, gave away stuff to other relatives, and got rid of the rest. While I'm not a minimalist, I don't like clutter and buying stuff just cuz (sorry capitalism indoctrination) so when I do purge my worldly goods my kiddo won't be left with an empire of junk.
