This was my favorite show in 4th grade. Haven’t seen it in years but remember so much about it very vividly. Wish it were easily accessible streaming or on disc

My Xennial confession: Remember Mall fountains that people used as wishing wells tossing in a quarter per wish? I stole your wish quarters when no one was looking and took them to the arcade!!

1 = early childhood through 2nd grade. middle of second grade switched to number 3. We skipped over NES and went straight from Atari to Sega.

0 out of 10, I would never recommend.

As far as music that was current pop/rock music that wasn’t my parents’ music: Presidents of the United States of America! Would’ve been ‘96 or ‘97 because I was in 8th grade. Before that though I’d been to a ton of classical, jazz, and nostalgia/oldies acts.

Howard Stern

Ha. I tried to explain the Howard Stern phenomenon to teenagers a couple years ago, and they had a very difficult time understanding lol. “He was the biggest guy in radio, which back before the internet was huge radio was like really important, and he was really controversial and always getting attention because he would do these really politically incorrect comedy bits that were outrageously racist and sexist, but every celebrity actor, musician, whatever would go on his show and he would do really good interviews, but then he would do sexually explicit bits with porn stars, and had these weird freakish characters on that people loved, and he was always in trouble with the government for saying things you can’t say on radio cause back then you couldn’t just go on youtube or whatever, but it was the most popular thing on the radio…” …[blank stares from the teenagers]

What was the first movie where you saw <looks around, whispers…> **boobies?**

You're a little kid. It's a weekday morning and you're up at 5:30am watching this on Nickelodeon. It's one of those cartoons that gave you funny feelings...and you still can't articulate why.

Gen Z loves 90s music, but they seem to have a distorted idea of what was actually popular. (As an example: I see them wearing Nirvana shirts, but never wearing a Michael Bolton shirt.) Which extremely popular artists or groups from the 90s should they be listening to that they are unaware of?
