Has anyone else noticed a decrease in the daddy long legs population?

Not sure if OP is talking about the skinny-legged, tiny body spiders or the Crane flys (I think) - if it's the latter it's way too early, they'll still be leather jackets; expect them early September.

They've taken the piss throughout the project, including starting about that time on the Bank Hoildays. I reported them to the council but it did nothing, sadly.

My wife's aunt was taken very poorly. Her cousin called her and told her that 'Mum wasn't well. In fact she died.'. We still laugh about that to this day - it was ten years ago.

Why do some businesses have min £5 on card still? This just seems like a sneaky way to make people spend more rather than a genuine cost problem.

I really don't understand people who use self checkouts rather than self scan. OK, so you have to have a clubcard, but is your purchase history so valuable that you are willing to pay higher prices?

Since my first bank accounts I've never had to pay for them. Barclays added add-ons, which I've paid for over the years but the banking part has always been free.

Mate, my daughter is in Uni and I pay her a £2K bursary. It just irked me that Just Henry and Nat West offered kid cards that cost £1.99 a month, as if they are moving to a pay to bank model.

ClubCard Plus. It's £7.99 a month and comes with two Half Price vouchers on most of your shop. It's pretty easy to get more than £8 off of two shops, so it quite literally pays for itself.

I'm coming out of a similar position now. I moved out, left her with the house and my daughter. She's moved on (several times) and now with a partner that wants to work on the house but not if I still part own it. So I was asked to sign it over. I was prepared to do it for nothing but when the lawyer for them contacted me I thought I need legal advice. The lawyer I spoke to explained there was a formula for my situation that would calculate how much I would get if it went to court. THey countered with an offer which on balance I would be unlikely to get even with the formula applied. I'm due to sign the TR1 early next week and their lawyer must submit the funds to my lawyers before it is being released. I doubt that is much help to you, but for pete's sake if you do agree to buy her out speak to a lawyer first. They're not cheap, I've spent two grand already and things are yet to be finalised. It's £350 every time my lawyer does anything. But it is definitely worth getting a solicitor involved.

I was a contractor in Erskine, I stayed Mon to Friday every week for well over a year. I may, and I stress may, have eaten in the hotel restaurant once. The rest of the time I went to the local Morrisons, bought a bottle of wine and something I could make into a meal without having to cook it. Bristish Cuisine limitations had nothing to do with it.

Back, way back, back in the day, the company no longer exists, but this was before video calls. A user was disciplined for banging one out to porn in his cube. Amazingly, he was no sacked. Only a few months pass, and the same thing happens again. I can remember his name clear as day - this would have been at least twenty five years ago - pre-millennial - I don't recall what happened to him after that - if he was taken off site or got another reprieve, but he became something of a legend. Big fat guy he was.
