If they hire you then they will find an appropriate role for you. You might be packing boxes, for example, which then get sent to be loaded onto pallets (the heavy work). I worked in a toy warehouse and there were plenty of females picking or packing.

In your opinion, what's the biggest waste of money you see people purchase all the time?

Is living year round in a tent in the UK actually realistic?

If you can find a person who will let you put it in their back garden and use an indoor bathroom and kitchen then it could work . It's not just weather, it's also daylight hours. Winter getting dark at 4pm rly sucks if you are in a tent

Do you like camping? Or is it to save money? Your money will last a lot lot longer in SE Asia. In Indonesia you can jump on the back of a motorbike and travel for a few miles for less than $1. You can live moderately cheaply in Europe but you have to budget everything . In SEAsia you won't need to budget at all really

For people who didn't drink excessively but decided to quit anyway, what was your reason/motivation?

Posted by pingusaysnoot@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 161 comments

DisplaySmart6929@reddit

I felt ok and then I had a drink and noticed I had a more down/depressed feeling in me and started wanting the feeling to wear off... so after that happened a few times I thought well what's the point? I'd rather just feel normal

How much have you drank over the past 11 days?

What’s the quickest and easiest way for me to move out?

Posted by Coin_inserter_3000@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 31 comments

DisplaySmart6929@reddit

Pick a town with a uni and try to find a room in a houseshare with just female students - they're usually cleaner and tidier than males Get a quick job in hospitality or retail and then look for something better Realistically, you can't expect to move out to your own place unless you have a decent job or decent amount of money saved

Yes I fully regret coming back to the UK Most of what you are feeling about missing friends and family is probably coloured by nostalgia. The reality is once you are back here you will remember why you left but then its too late..
