I had a room mate that had royal grandparents and he was very strange. He said a lot of odd things that I originally thought were schizophrenic or at least very odd. Then I saw that law enforcement special agents were not interested in arresting him for crimes and now I reconsider what he has said.

Congrats on getting sober! Personally I feel like it opens up the floodgates to addiction again. But perhaps it depends on the person. I can have a drink every now and then, and some people can’t. 1 year of sobriety is still very fresh, so be careful. For me, doing mushrooms would trigger my want for cocaine again, because I would do them together.

Horrible. I’ve been clean for 4 years, will never touch drugs again. It opened a bad door for me, had a lot of visits from shadow people after. I took it during the darkest time of my life. I did lots of psychedelics and nothing prepared me for dmt

It’s a typo, calm down. I’m Sicilian and Calabrese , and olive skinned. These kids were most likely not Mediterranean. A common theory is that they suffered from arsenic poisoning. A typo (the “y”) doesn’t make someone illiterate. It’s a typo. Uh oh, can’t make a mistake or use slang, otherwise a random reddit user shall take me for a plebeian!

Yes, exactly. And depression can lead to drug addiction, or if drug use comes first it can lead to depression and it is a brutal cycle. I’ve always been prone to depression and I had untreated ADHD and that coupled with emotional trauma led me to use drugs. I have so much more empathy for people in those situations now. ❤️ It’s kind of like being in quicksand. You see it sucking you in but you’re stuck and can’t get out.

Speaking as a former addict, I cannot stress this enough: Your brain will not make rational, good, logical choices. Addiction grips you in your entirety. You know you may die a horrible death but you don’t care because more likely than not, whatever pain you are feeling (emotional or physical or both) needs to be drowned out by your high, even if it kills you. They are real, vulnerable people that are at the mercy of these drugs. I’m blessed to have gotten away, but just barely. I have been clean for over two years from heavy hard drug use. My brain is finally really healing and I understand now that addiction started off as a choice and eventually became something I was a slave to. I used to be apathetic towards addicts when I was younger because my oldest sister was/is am addict and she hurt me. Then I became one decades later. Talk about karma.
