Unless there will be a dramatic shift to the left within the next 5-15 years, we'll see the breakdown of society and ecology as we know them

Yeah, ecology is done for, for sure. As for Society? Depending on how much of a trashfire America becomes I DO believe that shift to the left will happen..._everywhere else._ This country will become a living cautionary tale. That may not help a lot, but it'll help _some_ I think.

I genuinely believe that were a civil war in America to happen? If Trump seriously saw losing happening he'd launch a nuke _at his own country._

It should be both. We should have a society that rewards those who pursue their job beyond what the job entails, and teachers pretty much always do that. It's the exact opposite. You're demanded to do more than written as "expected" and aren't compensated for it at all.

To be fair, I honestly don't remember which started it. All that I can see is that no one "won" the Cold War in the end. All empires involved are decaying in their own way.

Pretty ironic, considering for the most part Russia started that and now it's incredibly weak. The definition of showing up to a concluded fight to take out a weakened victor.

You have to understand, they want to make using a VPN a felony. Something you can be arrested over. Using a VPN is now as bad as thievery, grand theft auto, murder, kidnapping and extortion, you know, ANYTHING that actually infringes on the rights of others or public decency. And using a VPN, sometimes just to get better ping in some online game, will be regarded as bad as the above. It's pretty obvious it's not about TikTok, it's about making it easier to criminalize the youth, throw people otherwise minding their own business into prison AND justify more privacy breaching. The other thing that's not mentioned is that you can extrapolate that it's way easier for the person in that Tiktok to figure out how to use a VPN in the first place than it would be for her parents. And you best believe not only are companies pushing this to get rid of TikTok as a competitor, but to more tightly control their markets, since a popular reason to use a VPN is to say, watch a show that's available in the UK on Netflix but not in the US.

Ukraine disarmed, Russia has no threat of being nuked back, it's a huge part of why they're even trying in the first place. The moment Russia notably steps out of line is the moment NATO gets involved and then we'll be walking the tightrope to MAD. I think Putin is, miraculously, sane enough to not want to absolutely ensure Russia's destruction and now is playing a terrible long con game where he tires everyone out of caring about Ukraine. After enough time's passed, support'll drop, weapons will stop flowing in, and he can start making headway there. It's why Ukraine wants to launch a strong counteroffensive this year; any longer and people will grow apathetic to angry they're "wasting" resources on it. They've already gone from supportive to apathetic over the first year of conflict. He's proven one terrible thing: we as a whole of humanity have become desensitized to wholesale abhorrent violence, with his shelling and bombing of civilian centers seemingly ignored nowadays.

Even then, the other side of having a "Dream job" is the idea of loving what you're doing so much it feels more like you happen to get paid for doing something you'd already be doing. No one dreams of working. They dream of work that doesn't feel like work. It says a lot that very few people achieve this.
