I saw Mr. Dressup speak at The Ridout near Western U. London, Ont. in ‘99 or early ‘00. I grew up with a different tv character but the nostalgia in the audience was palpable.
Gen X kids from Texas that didn't grow up with Bozo the Clown surely remember these guys

I loved watching Mr. Peppermint as a kid. I haven’t seen any old episodes on YouTube
