Agreed. The first time I saw the episode I couldn’t understand why Scott was being so stubborn but as I get older I began to understand what kind of psychological blow it would be to wake up out of a transporter buffer and find that not only have a couple hundred years passed in an instant, but your entire career’s worth of technical experience has been rendered obsolete through no fault of anyone other than time itself.

You are at an enormous disadvantage being 18. Experience is the key to confidence which is key to beating imposter syndrome. Know that this feeling is temporary and will only decrease given time. Not only will it decrease, I’d wager it will accelerate as well.

Do these devices have touch screens? If something is up with the digitizer it could be stealing the input from the mouse. Sometimes you can see ghost touches if you look closely. I’ve usually seen this happen in the corners or on the edge of the display.

It’s fine to play vidya on the clock provided: 1. Shit is done (or “hurry up and wait/progress bars”) 2. WFH Don’t do it at the office period IMO
