Are bathrooms without windows as bad as they sound? Extractor fans can only do so much surely, without actual fresh air? (pic is detached house!)

Pro tip for anyone renovating their forever house, use a corrugated solid pipe for the extractor hose. The supplied plastic covered paper tube is good for about 6 years of daily showers. Then it perishes and you are just venting into your ceiling rather than outside.

Number 1 for me because mine is 2 minutes walk away, if I don't support it then it might close down. No queues at self checkouts, great music, staff seem quite happy in their jobs. I just hope they survive the mountain of debt that private equity loaded them with, if not then they'll be another Wilko.

If he wants to change and improve then sounds like it needs to come from within himself. Just be a mate and a listening ear. Men can get a bit funny when they lose absolutely everything and then they do stupid things, the irreversible kind of things.

In my 50 years, I've bought brand name spirits from a corner shop about 5 times, last minute house party invite etc. Each time it's been knockoff quality. Probably explains the profit margin.

Go-Ape with the clip on system is a bit meh for me. Once you realise that it is impossible for you to fall more than 1 metre then the height you go is both much safer and less thrilling. The Phoenix Zip line in Zip World South Wales was quite good fun.

For anyone who has closed a business in the UK, were you confused about what to do?

I know it sounds obvious but don't leave money in the bank account when you strike the company, otherwise the funds are forfeit and go to The Crown. To recoup the funds you then have to re-animate the business. Save the hassle, remove funds (if any) first.
