Interesting. There is a job posted at a private high school that is half teacher (computer science) and half sys admin. I didn't realize it was that much of a headache. I was going to apply but I have no idea on how to write curriculum.

I built an open-source Windows deployment toolkit called Foundry OSD

Good day! Do you have a reference for this? I am not finding anything online about how to accomplish this. I know there are GP settings for force log off but I've never seen anything regarding force kill a process during sign off. Thanks in advanced if you can offer any thoughts. Regards.

My employer is a mix of MS and Google. I gotta say, it's a much nicer experience using Gmail and Zoom on a day to day basis. They're not great but at least I don't have the MS bullcrap of which versions go where etc.

Am I the only one that prefers on - prem to cloud based infrastructure?

+1 for Bulk Crap Uninstaller. It saved me when I some updates wouldn't update because the source files were missing. I just purged all the items that needed updating and was golden. (Really need to send that creator some money)

All OS updates, firmware and driver updates of the nodes can now be completed in the Azure portal with the latest update in the Dell branded AL infrastructure. Previously, an admin would have to patch the nodes with a Dell extension in WAC, then patch the guests via Azure ARC update manager. Now, in can all be done in Azure.
