I think what you're thinking of is affirmative action in hiring (which is probably illegal). Many dei programs such as mentorship and training programs have nothing to do with discrimination. Even in hiring you can use dei programs to reach out to people in underrepresented communities before choosing the best candidate through interviews even starts.

Hey op, you're right that libertarianism started as a left wing movement. Later it got adopted by the right in America. Overseas like in Europe libertarian left is the default From wikipedia - "Libertarianism (from French: libertaire, itself from the Latin: libertas, lit. 'freedom') is a political philosophy that holds freedom, personal sovereignty, and liberty as primary values." And while right libertarianism focuses on private property, left libertarianism, and libertarianism socialism, focuses on the idea that the limited natural resources should belong to the people that live there, and not whoever owns the most capital. And that people should be left to voluntary communies that they choose to live in. The belief that libertarianism relies on private property is incorrect by definition.
