The EU pays more than the U.S. as a percentage of their GDP AND Tax revenue. Significantly more depending on the country. Expecting the EU to further spend more isn’t very fair. The issue here isn’t just funding. It’s that no planning or transitioning to wind down programs was considered. It was cut off cold. That’s what will kill people.
