Is this a standard slim IDE 50-pin connector on the back of a USB LS-240 superdisk drive? (it has 50 pins, I counted them, and the connector is the same as is found on "slim IDE CD-ROM" adapters)

Both of these are classified as VOR/DME and transmit the same radio signal despite being very different physical designs. Are they functionally identical?

Serious question: was the nose of the B-2 mainly driven by aerodynamics/stealth or did they straight up just want to make it look like a bird. Other stealth aircraft don't have that kind of feature. Could they have explicitly went for that look if it didn't hurt the performance

Actually not a satire question because I'm starting to feel like I'm missing something obvious; why is this such a big deal lately? How are these not clearly just planes with landing and nav lights? Am I stupid?

How long do airliners keep takeoff lights on after they get in the air? Just watched one climbing probably through 20/25k feet lighting up a cone of clouds in front of itself
