My in-laws are 80 and 78 - father in law was disabled at work when he was in his 40s and hasn’t worked since. They receive housing benefit (their rent is paid), they receive pension credit (they get their state pension despite not paying in enough), they get all their prescriptions with zero cost at point of dispensary, they have their council tax paid. I fix their £600 car for them when needed - it’s a meagre existence but they manage.

Use them every week at work (we’re an OEM). They deliver DDP for our work account, can’t remember what it was like when I used them for a personal purchase (fpga board for the mister multi system)
