I wouldn't describe current labour as left. There's no imagination or vision, just absolutely running scared of the challenge, trying to survive, rather than actually improve the country. They've paid back their unions, to an extent, and made everyone else pay for it.
We need a government to bring back rail and water etc into public ownership. Invest in infrastructure (roads, rail, energy). And raise taxes on high net worths and corporations. The only possibility currently is Green, who won't win a majority. So best we can hope for is another coalition, but we've seen how those go
