What are the best frozen chips in the UK ?

Eh, they simply have a better use case for the average persons meal over a full sized oven and often produce better results, faster. Think the electricity is just a neglible bonus here.

Are the police allowed to give you a breath tested if you are drunk on a bicycle? And could he get points on his license?

>I don't think many people in the 21st century have ever been prosecuted for being drunk in and of itself  For clarity we are discussing this, not whether a private business has the right to ask someone slurring their words for another drink to leave. And again, the police would be enforcing it under drunk and disorderly or another law.

What happened with those prosecutions? Arrested by mere virtue of being drunk and comitting the thought crime of being 'on the way' to do something is interesting. Love to see one of those court cases.

>he's touching women and shouting at the kebab man... Shouting at the kebab man is drunk and disorderly, completely difference offence to the one being discussed, which is the point, without aggrivating factors they rarely enforce it as the problem behaviour likely falls into one of the more modern laws. Touching women well, yeah thats also a completely seperate offence lol.

I think it's more likely you saw them excercising their powers under drunk and disorderly or drunk and incapable rather than this specific law which prohibits intoxication in of by itself. A licensee's responsibility to ensure their patrons don't get 'drunk' whilst selling alchohol for profit is a bit of a non starter but I get what you're saying.

Constant exhaustion after work is becoming unbearable. Is this normal?

Started to go to the gym after work instead of doomscrolling, doing strength instead of cardio I found to be the key. The diet followed, so did the sleeping pattern and everything else. Despite doing more than I have ever done in my life I also have more energy than I ever have done, now I look forward to going after work.

People are more inclined to tell you their hotspot views anonymously on Reddit, mind blown. I don't doubt your personal experience, you just display a level of ignorant naivety which is amusing because of how typical it is.

They are unlikely to say it to your face. If you look a certain way and have an English accent people will assume you're stationed here, some bars have been known to deny entry based on this.

The Brit bashing is fairly typical here in Northern Ireland and in our online discourse. Not so much a throwback to the 1800's maybe a bit more recent though..

What's "Undertaking" on a Motorway?

Sorry, completely my mistake I replied to the wrong person. It is interesting that someone driving at 30mph per their speedo is an outlier though, I'd say most people drive at 32/33 per their speedo from what I observe.

You just said if the speedo says 71 the law is being broken which shows a fundamental misunderstanding as to the law and mechanics at hand. Now you're just shifting goal posts.

Is it rude to use both lanes?

Brother you should be in the right lane from the roundabout 3 miles back if you cant manage a zipper merge. The yellow signs are right there, it's telling you the lane is closing and you will need to merge.

Sounds like a Quashcai enthusiast. The same type of person that gives the right away to the detriment of the round users around them out of 'niceness'. It's beyond my comprehension that this person does not understand how a zipper merge would be beneficial for everyone if done properly. Monkey playing the cymbals up there.

Sometimes people just want to mellow out in the right lane instead of having to think about merging imo, it does not really affect me as I will always merge in turn. They always look like this picture where I live it almost makes me think it's not a fixable issue. The UK people love a roundabout, love a queue, put a merge in turn in the mix and the brains go off.

I'd say I have a very high success rate merging smoothly as intended at the end, when done properly people respect it. It's when they shoot up the left lane then get on the brakes halfway down because they don't fancy the merge at the end, thats when they don't get let in. Love trying to merge in turn and having someone sitting shell shocked with their indicator on a few yards up.

Are Henry Hoovers overrated?

I'm literally just after rebuying the henry hoover I gave away when I bought my Dyson. Sometimes it feels like the hunk of shit is leaving more dust than it's lifting and I had to keep borrowing a henry to clean the car because it just can't do it. They are probably good for a single guy living in a small flat or something I don't know - We have a few Dyson products and the Mrs really likes the airwrap and I like the fan so clearly they can do something right but it aint the hoovers.
