When your competition is making in-depth videos about these cars and comparing them to one another tracking them etc. And you release an article that has an ad between every single paragraph, why would I ever choose to come to you for content.  The coverage is good but the delivery of the content is not.

Have we experienced 'peak car', and is it all downhill from here?

From a performance non track perspective I feel like 12 second quarters and 4 second 0-60s pretty much maximized actual daily usability.  I bought a new ZL1 in 22 and can't use 30% of its power on the roads around here, it's total overkill. That being said, I wouldn't have it any other way and I'm glad I'm alive to enjoy it.

This is certainly an unpopular opinion here but I've seen a few of these in real life and by no means would I consider them nearly as gorgeous as the way people describe it on this sub.  I can't be the only one that feels this car is overrated, especially in looks.

It may not be illegal but it's certainly unethical as fuck.  If I offered any kind of product that was highly sought after and told everyone I'm only going to make 10 of them and then a year later when I'm broke decide to really release a hundred more it certainly fucks over the first 10 people.

This might be the most inaccurate statement I've ever read on this sub. Toyota gets jerked the living shit out of on every car sub. Whatcarshouldi uy is literally Toyota top comment every single comment.

We must be looking at two different subs because this sub has always jerked the shit out of Toyota. More people were praising them for not going the ev route than were against it even at the time. But get your karma

I think he's just more of an accurate representation of what car enthusiasts are like in the real world. They like and enjoy cars. Even if they don't buy them they understand that it's probably somebody else's cup of tea.  Everyone who feels like they have to shit on every single thing to keep their credibility is just catering towards an internet-based market.

Global_Examination21@reddit

The biggest difference in type of person is a car guy in real life and a car guy on forums.  If you actually go to a car show or a cars and coffee people are very friendly will help you put you in touch with other people to help with your car etc. Online it's all about trashing other people because there's some kind of weird elitism behind the car they own.

I'm a firm believer this is why raitis rides has been successful. You can love or hate the dude but he provides coverage on every trim level he basically gives you the sales pitch for every trim.  What this video explains is exactly why I don't like going to conventions because everyone shows you the $70,000 Tacoma when you are looking for the $40,000 one. I get the business behind it.

They have been heavily discounted for at least a year and a half at this point. You can find them for 37K base. And I guarantee in February the discounts will be back You should be able to get a base at 34/35 and performance for 38/39. If you only look in your city for a car you're doing yourself a disservice

Those are all good points what intrigues me about it is it is large You could put a family in there with probably relative ease. It's all wheel drive so in the northeast winters it'll be okay. It's sporty it's fun it looks pretty good, I'm sure I could get money off in a year and have a decent resale value after I drive it for 3 or 4 years.

It didn't drive like a cloud either it wasn't a comfortable ride it wasn't an engaging drive and that's not why they sell, to your point. But giving it a driving score or 7.8? Maybe it's way different from previous gen but I'd put my 21 as a solid 3.5 in that category.

They need to be paying attention to what they do with the Pathfinder and implementing it across the board. The Pathfinder is, in my opinion, the best offering they have right now and One of the only ones that is competitive.  I can't help but feel like it's increases at least partially due to it being a naturally aspirated V6 paired with a traditional automatic instead of their CVT.
