Why do Brits tend to hype up such mediocre chain restaurants like Wagamama or Nandos?

FunMathematician4638@reddit

Wagamamas is very bland, and not any cheaper than independent Asian restaurants. Fiveguys do a really good burger and fries, more expensive than other fast food, but you can taste the quality. Nando’s again is more upmarket chicken and chips but it’s not a totally horrible price for the quality

What's your experience of open top driving in the UK?

Posted by GasdaRoceries@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 116 comments

FunMathematician4638@reddit

I’ve currently got a mk3 MR2 and absolutely love it, the driving experience is amazing from it being so light weight and handling is the best part. No leaks yet although I do have a few small holes in the soft top that might leak in the future, I did have some water in the compartment behind the seats once but again that was due to the drains being overloaded. I’ve found wearing a cap is perfect for driving it around as the brim perfectly aligns with the top of the windscreen meaning I don’t need to wear sunglasses whilst driving it to see ahead.

We used to go to Spain on holiday because it was cheap. Then it was Turkey, Egypt, Mexico etc. Where is currently the place where Brits feel good value for money for a sunny holiday?

Would you rather earn £60k salary but presence is required in your office five days a week, or £30k but can work remotely from anywhere in the world?

FunMathematician4638@reddit

I see, my wife owns an apartment here so if we are to move the accommodation costs would just be the ground rent each year plus water and electricity, I don’t drink much, when I have bought clothes here in say H&M or other places I haven’t found it to be too expensive, at least no more than in the UK
