Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency Best practice guidance on the sale of medicines for pain relief states that no more than two packs should be supplied at any one time and that promotional offers that encourage the sale of more than one pack should not be used. I thought supermarkets like Sainsbury's only did packs of 16 now.

Go on eBay and buy siren for emergency vehicles. Should be able to connect up to 12V battery. Even better a generator. Old tablet connected by Bluetooth to speakers. Speakers left outside his place. You secure in house and play whatever you want.. Frozen soundtrack. A stone in his hub cap(s). Does he leave his car, pickup etc left open? Hide an annoy-o-tron in there.

Vomiting (or Nausea) and Diarrhoea... Hospital said test showed Campylobacter. You rang University and they said no going to any classes or uni events until have 48 hours clear. Can take days, sometimes weeks to recover from Campylobacter. You call 'rents and tell them how bad it is... you have black lumps of unclotted blood in toilet (they often look like black bits of paper or leaves floating) as body can't digest raw blood). Tell them about burning pain in small of back and belly pain when world falls out of your bum. Burning butt hole for ages atferwards. On leaflet from hospital it says Campylobacter has low minimum viral load to infect people so easily passed to others. You'd feel awful if you passed it onto them and wouldn't wish it on anyone. You'll just work through it by yourself.

I have similar issues getting my brain to shut up so I can sleep. I find listening to an Audible book helps, seems that giving my brain something to focus on distracts it, just enough for sleep.

Petrol guy died shortly after he got to A&E. Kidneys failed and then multi organ failure. Seeing damage probably best, would have lost both legs, needed stoma and needed so much surgery just to be able to pee again. Cut arm neighbour was sedated, surgery next day, out few days later. Sadly never dealt with his alcohol issues, alcohol or falling down due to alcohol caused epilepsy. Still drank crazy amounts of brandy. Epilepsy killed him.

During my Emergency Medical Technician training. Guy in lycra style cycling shorts and t-shirt who'd used petrol to try and get a BBQ going and set himself on fire. His mates put him out quickly with water from kid's paddling pool. Most of his skin had very little damage but where cycle shorts were was totally wrecked. Top layers of skin gone. Melted lycra gone up his butt. : : 30 years ago I was off duty and neighbour in drunken rage put his fist through his double glazed kitchen window. He cut a hole in the flesh, inside arm about three fingers away from elbow. Almost no blood. It opened up about size of a new £2 coin all the way into his arm. Every layer of skin and muscle. Could see tendons, artery, veins, bone. If he'd gone a couple of millimetres deeper he'd have severed arteries etc. Told him to keep his arm still but he kept flexing it, could see tendons etc moving inside his arm. Weird AF. He hated anyone in uniform, wouldn't let ambulance crew near him. Threatened them so they chuck us some dressings and left. He begged us not to call police as he had "history" with police. Stuck him on floor of my mates van. Pinned him to floor in judo hold, drove him to A&E.

For a guy.... may you only manage a semi. May everything you put in your mouth taste like it has just left your butt. May you always choose the slowest queue for everything. May you never find a Black cab/taxi to flag down when you need one. May you never have a pound coin for the supermarket trolley or correct change for a toilet.

Me and friend sat on floor aged about 10-11 (so about 1983) were playing Daley Thompson's Decathalon on my ZX Spectrum. He was doing 400m event where you moved joystick left and right as fast as you could. Faster moved joystick faster character moved. He was crouched over joystick, holding base in one hand and hand grip in other and really going. My mother (who almost never paid any attention to me and computer) stopped by us and said "Good hand action"... 41 years later still cringe thinking about it.

As I mention in other post am a Left Below Knee Amputee. Before being admitted to hospital for bout of vertigo (had multiple admissions). Female student nurse was taking all my details while sitting in my wheelchair leaning on bed where my left leg would be to write form. SD: Are able to scoot off the bed and walk to the toilet Me: No, can't walk anywhere at moment. SD: Can I ask why not? Me: Am a Left Below Knee Amputee. SD (blushing): Oh shit! Sorry! Put my foot right in it. So sorry. Lets move onto next question.

So when this happened I was 50 year old guy. I was only a Left Below Knee Amputee for a few months. Got admitted for bad bout of vertigo. Even moving head meant vomit fountains. Laying on bed in Ward, sheet covering my legs. Ankle and bare foot of good foot sticking out. *Very* obvious flat area where my leg leg from top hapd of shin downwards shouls have been. Random Nurse in her thirties storms into ward bay... Nurse: Mr R you *must* wear grippy socks at all times! Me, looking at my left leg: Yeah I'll wear one on my right foot. Nurse: No, both feet. Me: looking at left leg and gesturing at left leg. Nurse: You will put grippy socks on both feet. Me: No, I can't. Nurse, obviously angry: You will do as you are told Mr Rodgers! Me: I really can't. Nurse: Do as you are told! I leant back and slid the sheet back exposing my amputation stump. I gesture at stump.. Me: Look, if you can get a grippy sock on my left foot I won't take it off until I leave hospital. Nurse hid her face in her hands and sighed loudly. Nurse: F--k it, not again! She walked off. Guy in bed next to me was laughing so much, tears were going sideways. Never got apology or saw her again!

I'm a former Emergency Medical Technician. Weird as it would be incredibly difficult to measure a babies stool in nappy unless it was a 1 (little pellets; hard to pass) or 7 (all liquid, like gravy). Other numbers all revolve around shape. Which will get squished when baby sat down.

In addition the body has stuff call myoglobin which stores oxygen ready to use in emergency/life death situations. This gets oxygen to muscles almost instantly rather than waiting for oxygen to arrive via the usual breathing -> haemoglobin -> dump oxygen to muscles. Saving a tiny bit of time so muscles can yank the steering wheel/handlebars, swim faster from shark like shape in water. On an aside myoglobin is also what oozes out of a rare/medium steak... not blood as many people think.

When I worked for major retailer ~25 years ago used to ask for ID and was sometimes surprised. Also used to authorise alcohol sales for under 18 year old cashiers. I also used it to make lil ol' ladies smile... "Well your definitely going to have to show me some ID" or when under 18 year old colleague call for permission "Not sure about that lady but will give her benefit of doubt"... Only couple of times went wrong got reply of "Don't be so stupid!" and "Just fuck off".
