[Icc.tv](http://Icc.tv) livestreams some matches, like CWC league 2, the tournament the US participates in, and there's currently a test match going on in Bangladesh which is livestreamed on various youtube channels. I've been watching the beginning of each day. It starts at 9pm here in the west coast. Might be a bit harder to catch it as an East Coaster though.

Both the US and uk think that politicians are bad, and both the US and UK elect the same kind of grifters. This is not just a UK thing.

Uhhh first: Theres a whole thing about respecting public property. People will look at you funny if you dump trash on the ground when there's a trash can 10m away, even though the sidewalk isn't your property, so you really have no reason to care if no one was judging you, but people will, judge you. Same thing applies for other people. Unless you live in new york, when the train doors open, you let the people inside off first, then you get in, even though it's faster to just shove your way into the train. Also, there are crackheads on trains, too.

The MLS is the 5th most popular sports *league* in the US, behind the NHL, which is behind the MLB, NBA, and NFL. According to [this](https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/most-popular-soccer-leagues-in-the-united-states-20240110-WST-481080.html) poll/calculation, the MLS is the 3rd most popular *soccer* league in the US, after the Premier league in 1st and LigaMX in 2nd.

Soccer is the 4th/3rd most popular sport, but the MLS is the 5th most popular league. That's why it seems like hockey is more popular, because all hockey fans talk about NHL, while soccer fans don't know if the other fans they're talking about follow Laliga, or the Champions league, or the MLS, or LigaMX.

Obligatory reminder that american football, along with rugby union football, rugby league football, association football(AKA soccer, or futbol en espanol ou futebol em portugues), australian football, gaelic football, and Canadian football are all called that because they are played *on* foot*,* not necessary with feet, unlike games like polo, which are played on horseback. Also, soccer is an abbreviation of association football invented in England. Association football -> Association -> Assoc -> Soc. Then they used the common british slang at the time, which was adding "-er" to the end of words, to turn "soc" into "socc-er".
