I read a TIL the other day that refrigerators used to only open from the outside and kids kept dying bc they'd find abandoned ones, hide in them and then couldn't get out

Remember back in the late 90’s the Olympic skier Picabo Street had a bad accident? She was so grateful to the hospital that took care of her she donated enough money for the hospital to open a new wing, they named it in he honor “Picabo ICU”
