After you return it look for a 4+ year old Lenovo tablet with AMOLED. The displays are great for e readers, videos and long sessions imo and they can be had relatively cheap.

Some of the most fun driving I've had was in an underpowered 80's civic dx. Driving on curvy roads with hills in the wet, front tires scrambling to claw up the hills, during turns and try and fine traction. Was it fast? No. Was it dynamic and fun, hell yeah. I think I've had more fun in that then my Z06. But then again getting close to that much fun in the z would put me at suicide/manslaughter speed on public streets.

I'd honestly start with some easy stuff that should probably be done anyways. I'd do new spark plugs and air filter first to see if that helps. I suspect fuel delivery so fuel filter pump after that potentially. It's also possible your alternator is not charging the battery correctly and this is just low voltage.

It has to do (generally) with gas tank location and exhaust routing. If you look at all cars with single mufflers, the gas cap is always on the opposite side of the exhaust.

Do what the owners manual says. Modern synthetics can technically go 50,000 miles plus in normal conditions without breaking down. Your filter will not last that long however.

My rule of thumb with buying new wheels is to go as light as possible. Extra unsprung rotational mass is one of the worst things you can do to your car imo. Kills your braking, handling and acceleration. Flow form aluminum wheels can be reasonably priced.

YES and it is easy. Buy an ozone generator from amazon. Research how to safely use it. Research how to safely use it. Run it for a few hours, turn the car on (keep it running) and turn on the recirculated air. Run it a few more hours. Research how to safely use the ozone generator. This will 100% work. I did this to get cat piss smell out of a buddies car- he was ready to sell it over the smell.

Yeah, worst case scenario, the person he talked to doesn't work there anymore, and he has to ask to speak to a manager. He will explain the situation, the manager will see all the purchases and balancing history in the computer, and rebalance the wheels/fix the issue without a complaint in order to retain the business. Seems like the real answer is smaller and more efficient cars built for our specific needs and not our wants. Take that same hybrid from earlier- cut out the gas motor and 1000lbs and you have a car with 50-70 mile range and costs significantly less.

While your point isn't wrong, even without knowing the model of car you have, I can guarantee your gas car gets less range at 80mph than 50. The difference in air resistance between the two speeds is shockingly high. For my corvette (very aerodynamic car), the 'sweet' spot for mpg is between 45-50mph. You can idle in 6th gear at that speed and get over 40mpg easy (assuming good road and traffic conditions). I won't get above 20mpg at 80mph+.
