You worked for a race sport team for mini fml. Huge problems with mini turbos and head gaskets.  Op do some broad research instead of relying on info from people like this.

Are storage heaters a dealbreaker?

Admitingly your hace to buy the machine for around 900-1000 pounds. If you run it all day it will cost ten pounds but you will earn £2.80 as an estimate. Changes all the time.  My point is if you use an electric heater of the same powet. it will still cost ten pounds create the same amount of heat and wont pay you anything.  Its small gains may pay off may not. But if you need  to buy new heating appliances and dony have accses to gas its certainly an option

May seem like some cyber hacker thing but with electric heating allwas being 1-1 on efficency you may aswell get a hoke bitcoin miners as they also convert electric to heat at 1-1 basically and you get paid for it. We run two avalon q miners in our home for on demand heat when we want it

Have you tbought about aircon (air2air) I have same problems as you no mains gas and an electric boiler.  We use the electric boiler for water, and getting 5 port multi split with top of the range models for 7k (2.5k grant)  If we used more water  i would get a water tank with an internal heat pump as they are cheap, but for two people the savings would take to long to recover.  Going a2a means we can heat single rooms up instantly and still get 3x efficency, plus cooling in summer.  And dont have to run pipe work and rads for an alternative

If your living in the block you you definitely will be able to save especially if you deploy. Unsure what it is now but accomdation cost 100 quid for the higher quakity block room.  You can also get married quater hluses if single now if there unfilled.  I paid 240 for a three bed house.  All depends what you do in your normal life.  When i was on 31k i felt very comfortable howevet inflation has gone mental since then.

You want to join the raf and also train to be a commercial pilot? Id choose which on is more important to you now. I very much doubt after 9 years in service you will have the same ideas goals and ambitions.  That goes for any 16 year old seversl years later let alone ome thats been plied with booze working all over the world on subsided living.  Also have realistic expectations of what an weapons tech does in the raf compared to what you want to do 80 percent of them sit in the armoury handing out rifles to people doing training and then filing them back into the system.  Source: done my 9 years in raf

No worries was gonna see if your in SE as i know of two places taking on nhs. We also have a few dentist offering affordable private plans maybe worth researching.  Failing that.  This is extreme but i recon it would still work out cheaper.  Fly somewhere that does cheap dental work.  I got alot done in vietnam with a saving of around 4k compsred to the uk, multiple porcelain inlays/onlays and mouth gaurds etc.  Im sure there be closer options

How Do I Safeguard My House From Burglars?

Locksmith here. Door door dependent use a good mortice lock as a secondary lock if you have a wooden door there a cunt in comparison to most normal locks.  A good security light front back n sides does wonders and no thief wants to operate in bright light.  Avoid key safes etc and could always look into secondary imboliser devices for your car.

Tbf they are checked on audit, and most mot centres will check this and the number of dodgy mots may be a "high" number but it will be an extremely low percentage of vehicles on road and more common to old cars.

Does this mark on the door mean there was an attempted breaking in?

Posted by JCcrunch@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 621 comments

mining-ting@reddit

Yea I saw that. In theory it can be it all relies on getting the work that involves competing with the big companies that are essentially call centres paying less to local locksmiths for the work.  Ethier that or scamsmiths are a massive issue, both of these competitors have much bigger marketing budgets and pull so it can make getting work tricky.  I've built up a fairly good foothold in my area  as I'm good at what I do and its taken time, it can pay  fairly well for trades but your not gonna be buying mansions as a one man band.  Worklife is better in alot of ways but also I was up at 4 am this morning letting some plonker into his flat...

Possibly but doubt it only you will know but is it possible it's always been there and just noticed? If it was a crow bar I'd expect more damage to the door.  Ethier way your door would need a fair amount of time and alot of faf to  even try get in that way, using lever bars and air bags not crow bars.  Also slipping the lock wouldn't work.  Source :locksmith

I done this last year you get a ferry to athens takes a day or so. Then you can get another ferry from there to Italy or just drive from Athens.  Obviously this isn't public transport but I assume you can do it on foot then get busses between them not going to be fun atall.  There maybe better ferry routes to get you to the top of Italy or France as I just went to a port near naples
