Not me personally but one of the regulars at the shop I used to work at when I was 18 did, twice I think.
Anyway, he came into the shop one day, was being served by my manager and went ‘guys, I’m going on Jeremy Kyle but this time I will be the good guy’. Yeah.

I did a few times, just told them that I was struggling with my mental health and that I need a day off to sort myself out. Luckily, my bosses are decent people and even asked me if they could do anything for me

Call social services and ask them for advice. Most likely they will check if that child is enrolled in a school, and if she is but not attending they liaise with the DSLs.

I got bullied by a girl in my year (we were both 14 at the time). She got half the year and her mates from school to taunt me; beat me up, spit on me, call me racist names etc. never got in trouble for that but when I retaliated, the police was called and I got suspended at school.
Fast forward few years, there is an article in the local rag saying she was found dead as she took an overdose of some sort.
And obviously, all these people coming out of the woodwork saying how great she was, how loving and caring and considerate. Not that she caused me to harm myself and attempt to kill myself.

Not at all, you may end up making some new friends too. Last time I was sat in spoons with a book and a coffee I had a staff party from the booth next to mine joining me bc ‘I looked lonely’.

Spoken to the police and told me that indeed this was hate crime and had to be reported.
