I couldn't care less. I don't have a shell card, if anyone in the queue wanted them I'd give them away so I'm not fussed. Same with any other points cards I don't have

I call loads of people "love" male or female though usually female presenting people. Never had any backlash. If I got offended every time anyone called me "love" or mate ir darling, I'd be pretty miserable. Make sure she never moves up north (UK). Sir Ian McKellen finds it endearing so I'm going with him

If you're receiving table service, then you should absolutely tip if the service was good. At a bar on a round of drinks (especially a round of cocktails) you should also tip. For a single drink, probably not.

Police Officers; do you actually stop cars with reg plates that have the spaces altered?

I've got a modified plate spacing on my bike. Never been stopped, even sat in front of a police care at traffic lights. I'll be honest and say I did start to sweat a bit and lost them as quickly as legally possible

Lived at uni with a scouse girl who complained to me "all my dishes taste of fairy". I couldn't understand why that would be until I saw how she washed dishes. SLATHERED each plate, dish and piece of crockery in fairy before lightly rubbing it with a wet sponge and leaving to drain. Mystery solved. Literally had to show her how to wash dishes, maybe you could do that OP? Fairy goes on the sponge until no more bubbles, then a little top-up if needed, but that shouldn't be an issue for a single person washing up sesh

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle - this book can change your life 1984 - understood correctly. It's an important critique of the government's role in society and freedom Catch 22 - on the folly and insanity of war but darkly funny Half of a Yellow Sun - similar themes, not funny but important
