Having my chest sounded during an asthma exam while the doctor was smoking... He set his cigarette down in his ashtray for the exam of course but still.

My wife says I am a little boy trapped in a 44y man's body excited for GTA6 coming out. I said to her it's a cultural phenomenon. Am I the only "old guy" excited for this?

My friend arguing with me that his Bluetooth Beats in-ear earphones are "studio quality" and are used to record. I was working as an assistant recording engineer in a school specialising in digital arts at the time. They are very good headphones but other than amateurs recording at home they are definitely not used in a serious studio.

They are yellow covered metal grates on the floor with "FH" written on them. They can be opened with a pipe hammered into a square shape with a rock or hammer. I know because we used to set them off during the summer in the 90s (Belfast).

As an adult what have you bought that you always wanted as a kid/teen/young adult but were too broke to buy then? Does it live up to the hype?

I had DMs that felt like walking in lead boots until I got caught in a rain storm and had to walk 3 miles home... The combination of the water and my walking changed them so they felt like wearing socks. Unbelievably comfortable. I wore them until they fell apart but I can't bring myself to buy a new pair just incase I can't repeat the process of softening them lol

I bought a Fender Mustang... In secondary school my friends all got brand new fancy Epiphone Les Paul's for Christmas and I got a 2nd hand Dean... and I absolutely loved that guitar man. It was my pride and joy but I always vowed that could I ever afford it I would buy as many guitars as I could fit in my house lol and I pined over a Fender Mustang for YEARS. I now have 17 guitar and basses. I got my Fender Mustang and it was everything I ever hoped for. Just a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, absolutely perfect right down to the set-up. I've even added a Player II Mustang Bass to my collection last year I loved it so much.
