Stewpefier@reddit

Yeah very normal. To the point where 99% of the time if you see anyone posting about their weight loss "journey" after dropping lots of weight - you can bet those jabs are involved.

Stewpefier@reddit

If there were another big push to wear masks the worst thing would, again, be the overly earnest posts from people complaining that others aren't wearing them

Why do so many Brits hate their hometowns (and even the UK as a whole)?

Posted by SuitableSympathy2614@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 1005 comments

Stewpefier@reddit

There is truth in what most people say about their home towns. I'm from Reading so I get it. But also, sadly, we are the moaniest bunch of cunts going. So that exacerbates it. As I said, I'm from Reading. It's dull, sure, but there are some lovely spots and big advantages to it. As with most places, there is good and bad. British people just never recognise the good!

How has your Christmas been this year?

Posted by LostInTheCrowd95@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 226 comments

Stewpefier@reddit

Sad. Everyone's exhausted. It's the first one since my grandad died and it's never been the same since my dad died. No-one is in the gluttonous Christmas spirit. My two nans are descending towards dementia so they just repeat the same things. Mum chucked away a load of the food without considering Christmas sandwiches. My aunt's being an asshole. Things only perk up when my kid is in the room but she's too young to understand yet. It's just quiet and doesn't feel festive. Just tired
