My Dad had booked him for an event when Carr was still unknown. He did the Royal Variety show and became famous overnight so my Dad expected the booking to be cancelled but he honoured it and spent plenty of time chatting to people afterwards - a really nice guy.

For what it's worth our local NHS Trust have told hospital staff not to test for it unless they are really ill and then to treat it like any other illness.
