Steve Bannon tells CPAC that Iran war is just beginning - "You have to be convinced that this is the right thing to do, particularly now that we’re on the eve of potentially the insertion of American combat troops," Bannon said.

I agree. And I appreciate your comment. I didn't even know he was, I watched his video on the change of the world order and I just thought he was less intelligent Noam Chomsky.

I get it, I do. I understand and agree with your perspective. It's definitely a hard push to see through the rhetoric. You don't have or should ever follow anyone else's ideologies, or perception. Everyone should put they're own research in based on they're own beliefs and values. I had watched a video on the changing of the world order a bit ago. I had no idea who put it together but it made complete sense. It was this dude, I just found out today that he is in marketing and finance. What I'm saying is the changing of world order makes sense. Its track record is very accurate and it's nothing more than insight from different angle, it's not the end all be all. Shit I've watched and listened to hundreds of documentaries highlighting the opinions of so called experts pertaining to 50 different topics. It's simply just another point of view to take under consideration.

1. Large and rapidly rising government debts and geopolitical conflicts that lead to concerns about the value of and security of money, especially of the reserve currency, which drives a movement out of fiat currencies and into gold. 2.Large income, wealth, and values gaps within countries that lead to the rise of populism of the right and populism of the left and irreconcilable differences that can’t be resolved with compromises and rule of law. 3.The movement from a world order with a dominant power and relative peace to a world order that reflects a great powers conflict. Throughout history, these conditions have typically led to financial problems and conflicts rather than rule following. They were particularly challenging for democracies because democracies are based on the rights to have disagreements and the following of rules, so when the disagreements are great and there is not a broad-based belief in the rule-following system, democracies experience disorder and autocratic leaders gain power. For example, in the 1930s, four major democracies (Germany, Japan, Italy, and Spain) became autocracies.

That's a loaded question. I feel Britain has and is on steady pace to bona fides, that's an outsiders perception comparing to status quo of my environment which USA. Soviet Unions corruption has always been that of a surveillance state, still applies today however not as open. Alexi Navalny was a wake up call that old practices need modern adjustments. You also have to understand under all the corruption of these countries lies the United States, they've been an instigator, bully, protagonist, accerlationist, as well a control freak. If you took the corruption out of the US I feel alot of other countries pasts would be written way differently in a more positive direction. The United States..... The most corrupt nation in the world since it's beginnings and currently. I could go on for pages.... Economic hitmen..... Global market control... CIA... Military industrial complex..... Government itself.... Cooperate control.... Media bias.... It's endless. Each listed has multiple branches of multilevel corruption. However right now the United States finds itself in a odd position of high percentage to end the corruption. Epstein files have listed very prominent figures in key strongholds set across various cooperations and governments. If the United States were to hold them accountable it would fracture the foundation as well greatly dismantle the infrastructure of those pulling the strings. Once they out, drain the swamp and clean slate. They're are enough up and comers who had enough to put stave off the lobbyists and give the control back to the people. That's a small of summary I can provide

Geez.... I got lost reading that, felt like it was the beginning of a well written book. I could see what you were explaining. I'm sorry you had to go through that, I sincerely wish you a better life. Every human deserves to live decently, there's no reason other than greed that we all can't. The world we live in is disgusting, a few making decisions the rest of us have to survive in with odds constantly stacked against. Try your luck at writing, it may be a good outlet for you.

All throughout history, major empires and superpowers have followed recurring patterns of economic decline, often resulting in collapse. This framework, popularised in analyses of Spain, Britain, and the Soviet Union, identifies seven stages driven by overextension, financial mismanagement, and societal shifts. The “seven stages of empire” was a theory conceived by Lieutenant General Sir John Bagot Glubb, also known as “Glubb Pasha.” Glubb was a soldier in World War I and a long-time commander of the Arab Legion in Jordan until his retirement in 1956. During his retirement, he became a historian and an author.

New research from the University of Waterloo shows that artificial intelligence (AI) still struggles with some basic software development tasks, raising questions about how reliably AI systems can assist developers. As Large Language Models (LLMs) are increasingly incorporated into software development, developers have struggled to ensure that AI-generated responses are accurate, consistent, and easy to integrate into larger development workflows.

As for daily life in Havana, there are few cars visible on the streets. Buses don’t run most of the day. They go out around 6 a.m., when people go to work, and don’t operate again until about 4 p.m., when people return home. The price of taxis is out of reach for most. Three-wheel scooters with passenger seating are often used as taxis, but they too can be difficult to find when they go uncharged during extended blackouts. Massive piles of trash with rotting food accumulate in residential areas as the fuel shortage has crippled waste collection services. It’s not uncommon to see people searching through the trash. The waste management crisis poses serious health risks. Last year there was an outbreak of mosquito-borne illnesses that affected one-third of the population.

That works out to $7.23 billion per day, $301.39 million per hour, and $83,720.62 per second.

How a shift in the Gulf Stream could signal the collapse of a major ocean current system

Posted by PixeledPathogen@reddit | collapse | View on Reddit | 23 comments

PixeledPathogen@reddit (OP)

Changes in the Gulf Stream, a strong ocean current in the Atlantic, could serve as an early warning of the imminent collapse of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC). The AMOC is a massive system of ocean currents that acts as a conveyor belt, moving heat from the tropics to the North Atlantic. The part of this system that flows along the east coast of the United States and then east toward Europe is the Gulf Stream. Scientists are concerned that if the AMOC were to collapse, it could trigger drastic climate shifts, especially in Europe, where temperatures could plummet.

As warming oceans increase the likelihood and intensity of cyclones in the Arabian Sea and raise the chances of landfall on the Arabian Peninsula, storm surge and extreme rainfall could overwhelm drainage systems and damage coastal desalination. The plants themselves contribute to the problem. Desalination is energy-intensive, with plants worldwide producing between 500 and 850 million tons of carbon emissions annually, approaching the roughly 880 million tons emitted by the entire global aviation industry. The byproduct of desalination, highly concentrated brine, is typically discharged back into the ocean, where it can harm seafloor habitats and coral reefs, while intake systems can trap and kill fish larvae, plankton and other organisms at the base of the marine food web. As climate change intensifies droughts, disrupts rainfall patterns and fuels wildfires, desalination is expected to expand in many parts of the world.

So it begins......
