It’s not a floppy flame, which is good. It’s probably just dust burning off. HOWEVER, this video is not enough to determine if that appliance is safe. Turn it off and get it checked. Co is odourless, colourless and will kill you!

Does anybody ever have to speak to a GP but put it off because you get anxious about trying to explain everything to the skeptical receptionist that you have to convince first?

I didn’t ask permission, however I did go round and tell them my plans. Asking permission is outdated, and my wife would have hated it, however my in-laws appreciated the gesture, so win win I guess
