I have a specific scenario that happened this morning - I was overtaking a car while doing 70 as a police car was coming up behind me very quickly, rather than slamming on the brakes and ducking in behind the car I was overtaking I accelerated hard to 85 and pulled in front before the police car was up my backside. In my opinion a much safer manoeuvre and impossible with a 70 limiter.

I’m one of those perfect people you speak of and I missed a payment once, I phoned the cc company to have a look at my perfect record and they removed the charge immediately. Perfect, no interest or charges incurred.

Same here, always have done. There are more cost effective ways to borrow.

WW3 has been breaking out since I was a kid (and before) in the 70s, the media just lurch from one scare mongering crisis to the next, I’ve completely tuned out now. If it comes it comes, nothing I can do to stop it.

Stopped during Covid times, it all got a bit 1984 and I haven’t looked back. Ignorance definitely is bliss.

Kids, wife and I are all on 1p. No issues at all and roaming included, although capped to 14gb. We’re on the 50gb for £10 plan so good value too.

I pay £80 for a boiler service so £10 a month seems steep, worth it for the peace of mind though.

I’m with Octopus and pay monthly for what I use. Submit readings and they bill me, no smart meter fitted. I’ve been with them since the shenanigans of energy providers going bust and haven’t had a problem, there are slightly cheaper alternatives but not payg.

Second this, mine (Fidelity Global Shares) has returned 10% a year time-weighted. S&P 500 is also very consistent over the long term at a similar return.
