The best thing they could possibly do, is simply start airing exactly what they used to, minute by minute, day by day, exactly as it aired starting like January 1st 1985. Make it into a time machine. He'll, make it a premium channel so you don't need ad revenue, and then run the exact ads they ran during those shows as well. I would watch the fuck out of that!

Lots of good advice here. However, if you like to party there's only one place. Plano Nail bar 2129 W Parker Rd #313, Plano, TX 75023. Owner Steve is epic. Open bar in the back, and Steve wheels around a shot cart. The nail techs are great, but the devil may care attitude is the best part. I'm there every week for the mani and deluxe mimosa pedi. *chef's kiss*

One of my BFF's from high school had his 50th birthday party the other day, and it was a sight. We're all around that age, but the differences were staggerring. Some looked like they weren't a day over 35, and others looked 65 with beards as white as the driven snow. It honestly looked more like some people brought their parents to a party rather than a house full of people from the same grade. Aging Gen X is wild.

100% this. The people from my gym have, over the years, become so integrated into my other friend group that people I met on the mats as an adult will appear in the Instagram feeds of people I've known since Junior High. The mats build friendships.

Zenna is a highly under-rated gem. It's a dive bar. But it's a dive bar with unusually good food. The Thai is authentic, the more "Chinese takeout" items are packed with quality protein and excellent flavor, and the sushi is the highest bang-for-buck around. Dolly is my bartender of choice, and the bar is like a good vibe version of the Mos Eisley cantina...a wretched hive of villainy, but with a sense of community and groovy tunes laid down by my man with the guitar. I've been frequenting this place since the early 2000's. It's my comfort spot.

This is the most important thing. Do not be tempted to put on masks. If what you want is a deep and meaningful connection, It starts with being your true and authentic self. I did that. It made it more challenging initially, but it resulted in a relationship that will last.

Great recos here for traditional style. If you want to go new school, Torchy's and Velvet Taco. I'm partial to Torchy's, having been a rabid devotee since their first truck in south Austin many moons ago. Oh, and the spot inside the gas station on the NE corner of Park and Avenue K is bomb af as well.

McSweeney's gym is likely what you're looking for. I think McSweeney's MMA is the gym name currently and they're at 15th and Independence. The striking style is Dutch, so its a more bodywork and footwork heavy style than you'll see at Saekson's (which I prefer, but I fucking love Saekson so don't narc me out) and the BJJ is currently run by a black belt from JD Shelley's tree which means you're getting a style that's very fight-centric comparatively. Everyone there has positive attitudes and it's welcoming to newcomers. If you have experience I could go deeper, but not having any background that would be my recommendation.
