I’ve encountered a few and everyone of them seemed content. I feel like most artistic types like to be doing something, and if your life was crazy at one point normality might be nice.

100%--literally. Since the pandemic the cost of fast food has risen dramatically with certain food items doubling or even tripling in price. In Canada McDonalds is one of the worst offenders. Businesses learned that customers were willing to pay more so they're charging more. The price of certain value meals aren't that far off what a few restaurants and pubs in my area charge for a burger.

I don’t think it’s abnormal. My very WASPy Gramma always had pickles at luncheon, and my (Canadian) maritimer in-laws often serve pickles with what I think of as traditional meat and potato like meals. So while I don’t do it now, I might try it with my next pub lunch.

Anywhere I’ve worked we got to choose a preferred name. So while your cheques had your legal name everything else would be your chosen name. You could use a middle name or something else entirely.

My niece loves “collecting” coins and I thought this would be a relatively cost effective way to do it. My experience trying to get commemorative coins direct from The Royal Mint was entirely unsuccessful.

I’m so sorry all this happened to you. I am a gay boy and a poof and this sort of thing would prey on me possibly for weeks, plus what you dealt with earlier I don’t know how I’d cope. I think writing about it here will help, even if my advice is not to do anything to escalate the situation with the boys yet. If this happens again, maybe go direct to police. As for you today, have you favourite meal or snack, take a shower or a bath, listen to music or a podcast or watch a movie then go to sleep. Things are always better after some sleep.
