The Southampton Arms near gospel Oak and the black boy in Winchester just for the nostalgia of a mis spent youth (we got kicked out on our first visit after I fell on a solid oak table and broke it, and went back every week for years)

You have two choices really, scare them off with convincing aggression or removing yourself from the situation. Sometimes the latter can spur them on if you have already engaged. My wife is scared of these types of kinds because of similar experiences. Once upon a time I was a boy like that too. Its essentially boundary testing but on a societal level. They will either learn eventually or not. There's a popular comedy show that depicts this experience as one of the sub stories https://youtu.be/sZtLDufsjLU?si=Hz1kAVUmobacH8vp

I think you can see this at work in cities with blue light veichles. Went for a visit recently to the city i was born in and noticed drivers didn't get out of the way of ambulances anymore.

I often hear the bad side of buying a new build, and the good bits of buying an old house, but what pros of new builds and cons of old houses aren't mentioned enough?

Our wiring was a DIY job in the 70s by the looks of it. No power on the second floor currently (been like that over a year). No heating this winter as all the pipes developed pin hole leaks. I started clearing a ruin to dig the foundations of an extension and thought to myself 'what the fuck are you doing'

Why isn’t Tobacco grown illicitly?

Posted by Ambitious_Jeweler816@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 185 comments

DirectDelivery8@reddit

You have to do some weird and wonderful thing to a tobacco leaf to make it actually palatable. I'm sure as prices increase it will become more of a thing (most country pubs have an old guy that has tried it and brings it in). But between soil conditions, blending multiple strains and styles that need to be blended to make it smokable and lengthy processing, raw homegrown tobacco taste like shit.

It is in that regard. I think back to the high heel tap dancing upstairs neighbours or the constantly shouting at kids next door neighbours I've had over the years and shudder.
