Did you actually sneak out as teenagers?

Never. There was no way to get out of my mom's house quietly and she would've murdered me if she caught me. And there was no where to sneak out to at my dads house in suburban MN in the 80s.

Do you want to be buried?

My hair is getting whiter by the day and I'm totally ok with it. I've earned it. Plus I've always looked younger than I actually am & that has attracted too many creeps over the years and I'm so over it. I'm married and my husband is more white than I am so he doesn't care. I'm good with reaching my crone era. I don't want people to think I'm younger and I'm perfectly fine with being invisible.

I'm 53 and just started menopause. I've limited my caffeine to one cup of tea in the morning because I've noticed my body reacts differently to it recently. And I feel much better for it. I started having panic attacks out of nowhere. I try to keep sugar to a dull roar for the same reason. But I will never give up weed. They'll have to pry it from my dead cold hands 😆. I just had my yearly physical and my doctor didn't say a word about it to me. Life is short do what makes you happy.

This was a game-changer!

I was so happy when these came out. The extra $5 was worth it. I haven't answered an unknown number ever since. When I was a teenager someone kept calling my parents house and harassing me. Asking all kinds of lewd questions. Then one day he called when I wasn't home and asked my mom if she knew where I was and described what I was wearing that day. I was safely at school but my folks got an air horn after that. It only took a couple of blasts for him to stop calling. I hope the bastard is still deaf in one ear.

I would recommend starting with a gummy and cut it in half, see how you feel and have the other half if you feel like you need it. I use vape cartridges because they're more discreet and don't fill up my house with smoke. Generally speaking if you talk to the bud tender and let them know what you're looking for they'll help you and recommend something good to start with.

Before I was married I didn't chase so much as I selected a guy and told him he was my bf & they didn't argue. When I met my husband I told him that we were going to get married. He agreed.

Both of my (divorced) parents have already paid for and arranged their cremations. My dad joined the Neptune Society and I'm thankful for that. I'm planning on doing the same. There's no way I'd burden my daughter with my elder care. She has her own health problems. If it comes down to it, I'll end it myself.

Ouch. That hurt.

My boss and team lead are just a few years older than my daughter and honestly I adore them. They're good people. I've worked for boomers and for gen x men and they were all absolute nightmares. I'll never take another job with a boomer or gen x boss. The younger generations are smart and compassionate and I'm very happy to be with a younger crew. They keep me young!

This really grinds my gears

Hey yeah I smoked those too! My mom found them in my truck ashtray and had an intervention talk with me because she thought it was weed. I mean, I had that too but not where she could find it. She'd never even seen weed before and had no idea what she was looking at 😂

ComprehensiveSwim709@reddit

Yes I absolutely did this and people gave me and my friends mixed tapes too. My roommate from college and I are still best friends. Last year for her birthday I made her a play list of all the songs that were on the mixed tapes we listened to back in the day.

Those of you who smoked weed…

I smoked up until I got pregnant and then didn't smoke again until it was legal in my state and my daughter was grown and out of the house. I do smoke but not a lot. I have asthma so I have to be careful. It takes me about 3 months to go through a cart. Which my doctor and therapist are both fine with. I don't drink at all anymore. Maybe it's my audhd but smoking weed makes me super productive & I smoke when I need motivation to clean or do stuff around the house.

I had my first pair for a decade & my 2nd pair I bought in 2005 & they're still great. I have a couple other older pairs too, but I heard about the quality issue too and I don't know if I'd buy a pair now. Which is really sad because they used to be a solid brand.

Mine is 12/27 and my mom was always really good about keeping my birthday separate from the holidays. Everyone expects me to hate it, but I don't. 10/31 - 1/1 is my favorite time of the year. I love snow and the holidays and it's just a fun time and I'm glad my birthday is this time of year.

My daughter is 26 and lives with her boyfriend. They were in the same kindergarten class & grew up together. They plan on getting married and having one child when they are ready and can afford it. It's a solid plan, but I don't think she should have a child. She has a lot of health problems that would be made so much worse by a pregnancy. And with the US having the highest maternal mortality rate, it scares me to death.

Neophyte to gaming…

I second this. I didn't have any consoles growing up but started playing in my 30s . So I don't have the twitch reflexes most long time gamers have. The switch is perfect. Lots of relaxing games like Animal Crossing, Zelda, Stardew Valley that don't require a ton of skill. Id recommend getting a cheaper first gen switch. It kept me sane during the pandemic
