Is my New setup any good?

If you're asking whether your parts are compatible, then it looks alright. If you haven't already, you should make a build in pcpartpicker.com and it'll tell you if there are any incompatibilities or if something is too big for your case. It should be absolutely fine for programming, 1080p gaming, or anything else.

Good for what? It depends on the games and video settings. Also is this something you're looking to buy or something you already have?

Do you think it would be worth paying 180 more for a 5080 instead of getting a 5070 TI for 1440p Ultrawide?

What 5070 Ti model did you spend another $120 for? IMO there's not enough of a difference between variants to justify that amount. If you include the option of getting a cheaper variant then that's a difference of $240. You could also try undervolting/overclocking, there are several guides online. The actual process itself is very easy, but you might have to run different games for awhile to ensure you have full stability. If your card is lucky, you could end up with a 10% performance boost. I'd also look at benchmarks for the games you play. I'm running a 5070 Ti and 7800x3D at 4K and I'm satisfied with the performance I get.

Am I the only one who would locks my FPS to 60 with the best picture 4k picture quality, rather than lowering my visuals for higher FPS?

Is 1440p a good option for a 3080 and a Ryzen 7 5700X3D in 2025 or is better to stay in 1080p?

What's your current monitor like? If you're on 60hz I think the jump to 144hz+ is much more noticeable. If you play any FPS games then it's even more of a no-brainer. As for performance, it really depends on what games you play and at what FPS. I'd look at some benchmarks online for the most demanding games you think you'd play, and see if the performance is adequate. Personally, I prefer high framerates > resolution > in-game settings in that order, and I'd rather play at medium settings 1440p than high settings 1080p if the framerate is the same. I also have a 3080 and can maintain 100 FPS+ at 4K for a lot of games no problem, turning it down to 1440p if I really have to. I tend to play slightly older games though so I'm not as pressed for performance. Also, it might be worth considering features like HDR, which I've grown to be a huge fan of for gaming + movies.

To the other 3080 GB owners in the US, how are we feeling about upgrading?

I never tried the benchmark for talos principle 2 but iirc I could usually get at least 60 fps with low/med settings + DLSS. What settings were you using?

is an OLED worth $250 more than an IPS of the same refresh rate

This can be true, but fortunately a lot of OLED monitors these days have presets/settings to raise blacks, so if you don't mind switching between presets when playing shooters, you get the best of both worlds.

Enter a URL in the top box and it'll save a snapshot of the website. Enter one in the bottom box and you can load a previous snapshot of the website, if anyone had made one in the past. If you're talking about all of the URLs that show up right after you archive a page, I think that just shows up while the site is in the process of downloading the webpage. After a few minutes the actual snapshot should show up.

A lot of the discounted subscription services you find online for things like Steam, Netflix, discord, etc. usually involve some form of using Turkish/Argentinian payments. I know for steam at least some developers have to raise their prices in those regions past affordability due to the revenue loss, not sure for other services
