I think that's it! Yes, the tail could absolutely this shape. It was flying really low, but like I said, I was driving, so I couldn't really look at it. I did not know tip tanks existed at all, to be honest. I saw it just a few minutes before I posted and it flew over the black forest. But I am kinda bad at directions... I think it flew west.
