To be honest ... just see it from another point of view. I have two little kids one is 3y 5 months and the other 1y 8 months old. The way I see it is this- they want me to be next to them while they are falling asleep . They want me to hug them and to be close and the feeling is amazing. They are not going to be like that for long and once they grow old they will actually never want this. And by growing old I mean when they turn 8 probably. So please use this time (which is very short anyways) to hug and kiss and enjoy their attention as much as you possibly can because it is short and it is worthed and it will never come back again. That is how I see it .
