it makes no difference to your own application either way, but the more people who tick that they're poor etc the more a company thinks they've hired that type of people when they haven't. You're giving the boss a reason to congratulate themselves for something they're not doing.

They likely don't actually use that information for recruitment on a job-to-job basis, its just box ticking stats for HR meetings.

I don't think its that, I think seeing everything as a hierarchy where they have a place, even if they can never climb it, is easier for them to cope with that accepting they've been cheated and robbed, or ever admitting to themselves that people they hate might be right about some things.

manager likes her more than me so I'd be taking a big risk. a friend suggested I play the sound of a dog barking over youtube and then excuse myself. not sure if forever having to pretend that I own a dog is worth the respite.

I have weekly zoom meetings and every one of them is padded out by the same woman making the same complaints like she's sat in the pub putting the world to rights. no one gets a word in and we all have to sit and endure her podcast.

I only ever had shorts and t-shirt for PE. First school I went to the uniform was shorts or skirt only, no trousers allowed. Completely bonkers.
