Wtf kinda depiction is this?

In 1977 the Japanese ship Zuiyo-maru caught a highly decomposed carcass first assumed to be that of a plesiosaur. Though quickly identified as a basking shark, a recently uncovered image from the small New Zealand fishing vessel Karetai dating to 1975 casts doubt on this theory. [ART][OC]

Marked as ART Marked as OC Flair says ART Knobheads "Hnnnng my sub, go art place, this fake" and cry into their open can of beans they've warmed on a candle. The flair exists for a reason. A sub that is regarding all things cryptozology, with a preexisting flair... And people cry. Op, nice work, five stars, nice to see something not AI generated and being claimed as real. Ignore "teh haterZ" they'll always find something to throw their proverbial dummy at. Kudos.

And then posting publicly to try bring down someone well known in the community. This is another reason why people look at those interested/researching cryptids... So much infighting, disagreeing and ridiculing over what things are or aren't, and generally just not being able to agree on much.

Looks like someone's dog has run off with a camera through the woods... If these are stills from a video, A) post better stills, and B) link the video. Most of these pictures could be plants/bushes/trees in someone's garden.

How many people would of seen this in the 40s and thought it was a UFO?

Access suddenly I'm thrown back in time to 2012, to be reminded of the Essex Lion... The adamant witness, the photo, the police presence... Just a cat. Everyone could see it was a cat. Comedy.

I made these with Ai, be careful with fakes.

Oh I get it, I'm not dismissing your dislike at all, but depending on the people reading it, they will hit downvote because you stated an opinion they don't like, or maybe just the way you worded it... I genuinely don't know. I've had comments get downvoted for random reasons without knowing why, there are people around that will just downvote anything they disagree with in any way. Aside from where you're commenting, what or how you're commenting, and the type of people in the subs, my only real advice is to not worry too much about a random number that has no real bearing on anything at all. Too many people think the Internet is a popularity contest - how many likes, shares, comments - but the unless it determines your pay as an influencer, just ignore them. Ignore the numbers, the downvote, people that seem to be trolling... Hope that's been of some help?

Well, getting downvoted is probably the biggest issue. I had a quick scroll through your profile and saw you get downvoted in car subs, disliking wagons or something, and then something about lawn care maybe? I don't really know what or how it all works, but you get positive karma for upvotes on Posts and Comments for the most part. Unfortunately, lots of people seem to think disagreeing with something they've said, or a different viewpoint is a bad thing, so they will downvoted you. Maybe avoid subreddit that seem to have toxic users... Only other option is not to say anything negative, disagree with anyone, or say anything controversial! I know I know, I'm kidding... Maybe word replies differently, dont be blunt, don't outright dismiss people's posts... I don't think anything you've said is bad or wrong per se, maybe people just don't like the blunt replies? I genuinely don't know... Try similar but different subs, maybe the users in a different one will be more receptive... Instead of "Wagons are ugly" say something like "I've never been a big fan of how wagons look, would much rather have X Y or Z" or something. Hope that helps a little?

Earth is the size of, well, Earth Satellites are anything from the size of a shoebox, up to the size of a minivan. Ish. Some a probably bigger. When you zoom out to take a photo of Earth, the Satellites aren't even a speck on a speck. Same reason you don't see people walking around on images of a country from space. Same as you don't see all the germs and microbes on your dinner when you take a photo of it. Then there's the speed of the little buggers... They're not just lazily bobbing through space like a lazy river ride. They've got some ZING! to them. Small things against REALLY big things tend to not show up.

Excellent post, love this sort of thing. Used to play an MMO many many years ago called Dark Age of Camelot, and all the mythical Arthurian legendary places were covered, so your map has taken me right back to that! Even had a DLC that introduced Atlantis, so double bonus! I'm no expert or anything at all, but it looks like you've really gone down the rabbit hole on this and pulled out every single reference you can. When I started looking I thought "I wonder how many more places like this are out there Op might have missed!" but now I'm not sure there are many you could have missed! Now to go start looking into all the different places I've never heard of!

Does anyone recognize this description? What kind of person/creature is this?

Blows my mind with something like five thousand of these in orbit, with launches all the time, with it being on news, social media, random websites, people look up, see a line of dots bumble across the sky, and think "ALIENS!" and not "MUSK!" It used to annoy me that people would see one bright dot move quickly and say they saw a UFO when it was almost entirely likely just a single satellite... But the Starlink trains are easier to see and, I would have thought, known to most people with access to the Internet. Goodness knows what these remote and uncontacted tribes in the jungles must think when they see them...

I genuinely believe a lot of people could do with a deeper understanding of Pareidolia, and not thinking every shaded shadowy area has something in it.. How long before people start thinking "clouds that look like something" are actually that thing, and we'll be getting photos of "There's A Sky Crocodile" or "This cloud is an actual heart, as god is telling us he loves us"

I just took this picture of the moon with my phone. Then I noticed something sitting on the very top. I zoomed in and screenshot it. Wtf is this?

My first thought was that this was a photo of a tortilla! As for the nipple/weiner/hat/hook/skyscraper and whatever else people have said it could be... I wonder if it's just a star behind the moon, and the extreme zoom, coupled with whatever it is the phone might have done to the image, has given it a weird distorted appearance... Like when people over use the smoothing filters on their face and their nose disappears...

Like others, I suspect the best place would be the ocean depths... They find new things so often, it doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to think there would be plenty of things down there that have survived. Tree tops and suchlike I like to think COULD be a possibility, but I think the ocean depths are more likely, simply thinking about the number of events that have ended life... A mile under water would be much safer compared than a hundred feet in the air. I'm not entirely dismissing the treetops, I just suspect the ocean depths "safer" in comparison. Asteroid Blast? Trees would be gone. Mega Tsunami? Ocean depths would be safer than washed away land. Ice Age? Even if the forests and jungles didn't freeze, insects and bugs don't do well in the cold, whereas the ocean depths would be much safer... And every other massive disaster, volcanoes, mega hurricanes, huge earthquakes... Everything affects dry land more than ocean depths. And while I don't think I can spell it, the prehistoric fish, Colecanth, was considered an extinct dinosaur - until they found it, and then multiple of them. I hope my rambling thoughts make sense!

National Aero Space? No. Natural Adobe Shop Agency, works in a basement in Hollywood. Almost all photos from NASA's Mars missions are heavily edited and can't be trusted. Spiders and rats, are you kidding me? You can believe the recent photos by USA/China/India with a grain of salt.

I am very much like this, and always have been. I'm 47 next month, and have always heard things like this, and as someone else mentioned, old TVs, the CRT kind, I always knew if one was on or off in the house - like the other poster said, it was more a feeling than hearing it... I can hear certain appliance LEDs, some phone chargers make noise, various light bulbs... It drives my wife crazy, especially when buying stuff for the bedroom as in the middle of the night I can hear some things worse than others. Now, in other news, I've recently been diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum, and that noticing high frequency and otherwise generally quiet sounds is a part of that diagnosis... Hope that helps!
