Finding an ancient community

Not a joke, but just wondering if anyone here came from the community that understood: - "purple, because aliens don't wear hats" - "the horse name was Friday" - "Nevil's basement"

I know this thread is from 6 years ago, but I found it randomly and it brought back memories. Haze reposting jokes, Dom telling scary stories, The jokeceptions about Sarah (IYKYK)

I understood, my friend. Btw, do you like breadsticks?

This may be a late comment. But I remember the Funny Joke App on android by SwissCodeMonkeys, there were tight jokes and a coll community that dissipated to history. There was that breadstick like "So, do you like breadsticks?" from a giu who I believed asked a girl out at a mall food court circa 2009. Also the Chuck Norris jokes, and there also used to be this legendary lad who had top their jokes on every sub community. I distinctly remember something about a purple alien, not too sure tbh.

Yeap. It was a reference to that community that's now unfortunately lost to history. I used to be a frequent poster for Long Jokes for detective story-riddles and horror story-riddles

Got a good chuckle coming across this post. Spent so many hours on that horrid app back in the early 2010's, still talk to some people I met on it to this day. Good times

Apparently someone created r/RubsForeheadTwice though it’s essentially inactive. Anyway, hope you’re doing well stranger-friend

/u/ExplicitTickler has unlocked an opportunity for education!
Abbreviated date-ranges like "’90s" are contractions, so the apostrophe goes before the numbers.
You can also completely omit the apostrophe if you want: "The 90s were a bit weird."
Numeric date-ranges like 1890s are treated like standard nouns, so they shouldn't include apostrophes.
To show possession, the apostrophe should go after the S: "That was the ’90s’ best invention."
The apostrophe should only precede the S if a specific year is being discussed: "It was 1990's hottest month."
TL;DR: When writing dates, apostrophes do not pluralize!

Wow this brings back some fond memories ! I would check in daily with that community during sophomore and junior year HS. It was such a great feeling to have one of your jokes make it to the top . I felt like a celebrity for that week 😂

Oh my god I was 12 aswell when I downloaded this app! It was like reddit before reddit, I'd spend hours on it everyday. The hate we had for iphones and ifunny was wild.
