Had a 9600XT with Athlon XP 2500+ and a 2x1GB DDR 400 kit which I was somehow able to force the system to boot at 400FSB, putting the 2500 at 3200 speeds. Played FEAR decently at Medium settings. Played Half Life 2 really well though!
The 9000 series were very good Video/3D-cards.
I had a 9600, and in that era of very quickly expiring PC hardware, I remember it still being usable for new games years later which was very impressive for a budget card at the time
