What are the apartment prices like in Budapest?

I might go to study in Hungary this year but I’m having an issue regarding apartments. I’m finding decent one room apartments for 100k ft or 180k ft but people keep telling me that I would find apartments with two bedrooms and the same price as this so I can split the rent. But I’ve literally found nothing like this on ingaltan.
Any advice?

I live in a 3 bedroom apartment (not alone of course), and it costs 255k for a month for the three of us combined. If you want to be alone, and you also have the budget, go for a 1 bedroom apartment, you can get a really good one for 180-200k. But if you don't really have the money for it, get a bigger flat with 1-2 friends, and your part of the rent instantly goes down to 80-100k max. Each one has their pros and cons, you can choose the one you like.

100 or 180 are not the same :D
Generally renting prices are fucked so if you find anything that looks affordable go for it!

That’s the thing, people are saying I can find two bedrooms for the same price and split it with someone but I haven’t seen a single two bedroom that’s this price

As anywhere else, you might but perhaps not in the best location.

People who are giving you bad advice haven’t checked the market in a long time. 🫣 Cost of living is more evpensive now.

Actually how I’m feeling right now

100k for a room in a shared apt.
180k for a studio without utility cost.
250k a 2 bedroom. No, barely possible to find anything below thia price.

You could, much further from the centre and/or with significantly worse conditions. Your range is reasonable.
