Best wavy hair haircare products in Budapest?

This is a silly question but I’m moving to Budapest soon and am worried about finding products for my very temperamental hair. I have wavy, dry hair that gets weighed down very easily. Where should I shop for good hair products that aren’t too pricey? I don’t know much about what brands will be available that I’m already familiar with. Thanks in advance!

Would be helpful to know your general geographical region to see what you can currently get, or maybe mention your favorits lol. You can get most stuff including salon brands either in physical stores or online. I like Lush big shampoo, fudge urban texture gunk and bumble and bumble sea spray.

Sorry! I’m in the states! I’m not picky but I’m used to using pureology, Pantene, bumble and bumble etc. I love a good drugstore shampoo and conditioner too!

Pureology is available on Notino in Hungary, Pantene in DM or Rossmann. Cultbeauty and lookfantastic also ships to Hungary that carries all the premium brands.

Thanks so much!

I don't think you will find pureology locally, but you can order from abroad if cost is not an issue. We have Pantene though. Cantu too, apparently, in hairdresser supply stores (those have the best professional products). But if you're cost-conscious, look at DM-drogeriemarkt or Rossmann, those are the 2 biggest drugstores - with quite a lot of physical locations, their own store-brand products, and also websites and online orders and everything.
For a better grasp on what might be easily available, look around on kremmania.hu - it's a review site, kinda died down a bit as a community in the last few years but still works as an archive.

Thank you so much for all this info! Are there any stores that are similar to Sephora but not as upscale? In the states we have Ulta which is where I usually get all my hair care products and makeup.

I can't tell how comparable the stores are, but apqrt from what i have already mentioned, Müller might be similar to Ulta, and Douglas is the one that's more like Sephora.
There's also Notino if you don't mind online shopping, which has a little bit of every pricepoint, but i have not tried it yet. I'm partial to makeup.hu when online shopping.

As others have said, Pantene is widely available. You can also buy from salons, I have fine wavy/curly hair and I buy Redken (the brown bottles) or Davines (Love or Oi range) from salons

I love Redkin!! Glad to know I can get it there too. Thanks for the recommendations! Are there any good salons you recommend for a layered/shaggy cut?
