He goes to a local coffee shop to get some breakfast and a coffee, the final price happens to be seven dollars and seventy seven cents. Then, he is about to get on the bus to work, but sees that the bus was a different bus that day, bus number 777. He thinks, “All these sevens? The universe must be trying to tell me something…” So he goes back home, jumps in his car, and drives to the bank. He asks the banker how much money is in his savings account, it was 7777 dollars and 77 cents. So he takes all the money out of his savings, and drives over to the horse races. As it happens, the horse race is the 77th annual derby in his town! He takes all of his money, 7777 dollars and 77 cents, and puts it all on horse #7, named Lucky Number Seven.
