Why am I calling a door anything?
countafit@reddit
A wall.
AnglerJared@reddit
Punchline could just have “A jar.”
ScenicFlyer41@reddit (OP)
I don't think that's as funny imo
TheCurls@reddit
Well it’s the original joke.
When is a door not a door? When it’s ajar.
gsopp79@reddit
Neither way is funny at all.
AnglerJared@reddit
Oh, it’s not funny either way. It just wastes less of the reader’s time if you shorten it.
vipros42@reddit
When is a door not a door? When it's ajar. Is an extremely old joke and a better version of what OP has done here
AnglerJared@reddit
When is a car no longer a car? When it turns into a driveway.
predictingzepast@reddit
Maybe they were trying to say who would you call to fix it?

What do you call a jar that won’t open?
A closed case.

I was in a band called the Hinges We supported the Doors

Chrysler Town and Country wagon in the '80's taught me this... "A door is ajar"
No it's a door

/u/MassCasualty has unlocked an opportunity for education!
Abbreviated date-ranges like "’90s" are contractions, so the apostrophe goes before the numbers.
You can also completely omit the apostrophe if you want: "The 90s were a bit weird."
Numeric date-ranges like 1890s are treated like standard nouns, so they shouldn't include apostrophes.
To show possession, the apostrophe should go after the S: "That was the ’90s’ best invention."
The apostrophe should only precede the S if a specific year is being discussed: "It was 1990's hottest month."
TL;DR: When writing dates, apostrophes do not pluralize!

Bad bot

Why?
Srikandi715@reddit
Possibly because this is the least disturbing spelling error ever made on reddit, but it's the one that has a bot 😛
I find it very annoying too -- not that it's necessarily incorrect, but unlike a lot of other errors it even simple typos, it never leads to confusion or misunderstanding.

Alternatively, “when is a door not a door?”
“When it’s ajar”
Similar to “when is a bus not a bus?”
“When it’s turns into a road”
