Antal Szerb and question for all of you book lovers?

*On the subway everything seemed fine. The problem started online, with the subreddits.* u/nanin142 *first noticed the subreddits as the train stopped from its motion in a tunnel and they started appearing left and right. At first he paid them no attention, being caught from the onset with the essential Redditness of Reddit: the endless scroll between the posts, the bots, the rage baits, and the eerie braindeadness serenity of the App...*
So I have spent more time with *Journey by Moonlight* as I care to admit, even under strict redditorial anonymity... It is truly one of the better books ever written.
It got me thinking, are there any other hidden gems in the Hungarian cannon that haven't established themselves in the Western European cultural sphere? Would love to hear your recommendations!
And if not, and if this post has brought a smile to the face of a fellow book nerd, then I have done my part:) Thanks in advance!
