In order to prevent all future problems, simply kill all living beings. If there is so more life, there's no more murder, no burglary, no assault, no nothing.

Hey OP, this is a great idea but we need to consider more things. There is likely life outside the galaxy, and getting teched up enough to actually enact the plan is not going to be easy. It's also going to take a lot of resources and manpower to build such a thing. We are going to have to solve a few problems along the way too, like how to best feed and shelter people, how to make people happy and productive (after all, people are most productive when happy), and how to remove all crime (crime will likely have adverse effects like blowing up all our progress towards omnicide). I'm currently all in on this idea, but still working on the prereq stage, specifically the "how to best feed and house people" one. I suggest that's the one we start with, but space exploration for being able to search outside our galaxy might be fun. Just don't do something clearly counter to the goal, like senselessly killing others or, you know, crime in general.
